PHENOMENAL!!!!

Another fabulous day of training, teaching and discipleship. The camp attendees are not just learning a story; they are delving into the theology to be learned from the Bible stories. Jeff Singerman had told us about the ability of storying leading to discussion of significant theological matters and we are seeing the manifestation of that in the leadership camp. The report back to us is that it has been a phenomenal day!!!!!

John observed that the investment made in the lives of the team members as they were growing up by Sunday School teachers, Discipleship leaders, Youth leaders, music and missions ministry leaders is truly paying great dividends now. Our appreciation to all of you who planted and nurtured seeds of faith in the past. God is bringing forth fruit now--how awesome and exciting. And the ripple effect continues--these young people are investing in the Benin pastors and lay leaders who will in turn invest in villagers who need to know Jesus. What a privilege to be part of this amazing journey.

Thursday is going to be a VERY long day for the team. They have a full day at the camp where they will be teaching the longer, more complex stories. Thursday evening the team will travel with Pastor Phillippe--the evangelist we have worked so closely with to a nearby village to show the Jesus Film. This powerful movie has such great potential to spread the gospel. Pray that technically everything will work and that the villagers will respond and be accepting of the message of the film.

Continue to pray for each team member's stamina and energy. The temperatures are very hot--heat index is running about 105! The heat can drain everyone's physical strength quickly. Pray also for protection from evil forces and for the light of God to shine brilliantly.

God continues to work thru our team among the Mahi--keep praying.
