1st Conference Day a Real Blessing

I just talked with AB a few minutes ago. He reports that the 1st day of the Pastors Conference was wonderful. There were about 17 men attending the session--they called it seminary! Barbara Singerman worked with about 10 women as AB was teaching the men. AB says the day was very fulfilling. It was a long day--they were teaching from before 8:00 a.m. until almost 6:00 p.m.

Tomorrow the conference continues for about 1/2 day. During that time, AB will be giving the pastors who need it a study Bible in French and or the New Testament in Fon. Some of the men already have these but we are equipping those who do not.

Sunday, AB will be attending services in Logozohe with Pastor Jonas--one of the key people we will continue to work with. Then he will probably make a visit to Gbalin to see King Tofa. On Monday and Tuesday AB will be making quick visits to several different villages--encouraging the pockets of believers, prayerwalking and evangelizing throughout the villages.

Specific prayer requests from AB: for health, for a continuation of the blessings on the conference, for the village visits as he practices the ministry of presence.

AB sounded very upbeat and encouraged over the phone. I believe today has truly been a blessing for him and for the Mahi Christians he was working with. Please continue to pray for AB and the nationals he is working with and training, and for the supernatural divine appointments in the villages next week. Pray too for an extra measure of God's grace and presence to be felt as AB visits with King Tofa.

I assured AB we are all praying and he shared that the believers in Mahi are praying for us as well. Go Mahi!
