In Oudeme

The team has arrived in Oudeme and is settled into their housing. They are on the 2nd floor of a block house. Kathryn says there is a nice breeze right now so it if fairly comfortable (A breeze in Benin is still hot, but at least the air is stirring.) Water has to be hauled in--I wonder if any of them will master the art of carrying water buckets/jugs on their heads? Weather has been good today, the roads were not a problem at all. The storying camp begins at 9:00 a.m. Thursday. Everyone is healthy and excited--they are grateful for the prayers. The Mahi are open but Satan is also doing what he can to squelch the Gospel. Thankfully, we know who wins--praise God! Prayer is Key to success so keep praying!

+ Praise for all that God has done evangelisitically!
+ Praise for a top notch team!
+ Praise for overall great health and that it would continue.
+ As the novelty of being in Africa wears off (something she has yet to observe) that the team will remain invigorated.
+ Bibles in the bush language for the ones who are literate.
+ Sound sleep for all the team.

When we talked their accommodations in Oudeme were somewhat still up in the air. We'll find out if they opted to stay in a place without electricity and needing to haul in by bucket their water from a well or decided to make a daily 40-45 minute commute in from Glazoue.  THey decided to stay in Oudeme--see above. 

I believe this team is experiencing a great (great!) measure of prayer support. Thanks to all of you for praying them through this trip so far. I pray that you do not tire from interceding for them. If the team gets to a point where they are grinding it out over there, let's renew our commit to grind it out over here!
