On our return trip to Cotonou, we stopped by the Benin Baptist Bible Institute in Bohicon. We met with one of the faculty, Pierre Mensah. He explained the different options or tracks available for educating pastors. Overall, a good visit. Favorably impressed with the school and Pierre. At our invitation, he joined us for lunch.
North of Allada we almost killed a family traveling on a bicycle. The brakes on our SUV went out and Cossi tightly navigated between the bicycle and an eighteen-wheeler. It was too close. By God's favor we came to a stop directly in front of a mechanic. The repair took about 45 minutes.
We said our goodbyes to Modeste and Calixte in Calavi. Cossi brought us to the Hotel Tossi where we met Mark for supper. We debriefed Mark on our experiences.
