Tonight we dedicated the motorcycles to the work of God through the association. The bikes specifically are to be used by Jonas and Romain as the association sees fit. We were greeted with song and dance. Phillippe spoke from Philp. 4.10-20 emphasizing that we are to be content regardless of whether we have plenty or little. He asked that God will bless BH so that our church can continue to bless others.
The church/association members were particularly impressed by the gift from the children from VBS. Jonas and Romain pledged to be good stewards of the gift and to extended the work of God by the motorcycles. Jonas had much to say in appreciation of the study Bibles that were given to the pastors in the April 2010 visit. He said the commentary has helped him to understand much about the Bible and has thereby extended the kingdom of God. He anticipates the same result from the gift of the motorcycles.
In the afternoon, Calixte and I began to identify each of the Maxi villages and note whether they were being served by an evangelical congregation and, if so, what denomination and who is the pastor.
